Jaipur Silk Fino is a superfine mulberry silk with a perfectly smooth thread structure and a beautiful lustrous effect. This yarn brings out even the most intricate patterns and, thanks to its excellent climatic properties, is the ideal year-round companion.

The very shiny surface and lack of elasticity of non-animal fibers result in a tendency to “stretch” after washing. Take this into account when you make the sample: it may stretch by about 10%.

Silk absorbs a large amount of dye. It is normal that it tends to release some color. We recommend that you rinse the yarn in water with vinegar until the water is clear.

Jaipur Silk Fino is dyed with AZO-free and Oeko-Tex certified dyes, which means the dyeing process is environmentally friendly.

Some colors may have excess dye. We recommend that you rinse the yarn in cold water before use, finishing with a rinse in water and a little vinegar. Always hand wash in cold water. To preserve the shine of mulberry silk, wash Jaipur Silk Fino by hand only, using a neutral shampoo and always ending with a rinse in water and vinegar.
