Dry Desert Camel yarn comes from the Gobi Desert in Mongolia. Nomads hand-select the finest fibers, which are then washed and carded. Next, the yarns are spun by hand by the experienced local spinners, all women, in Mongolia and Nepal.

Finally, the yarns are hand-dyed by experienced dyers, using dyes that comply with the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals ( ZDHC ) standard.
These beautiful camel yarn skeins can be combined to create accessories or more elaborate garments.
